She signed a contract with YG Entertainment and experimented for several years before finally debuting in BLACKPINK. The group was an instant hit with their debut songs “Whistle” and “Boombayah” which shot them to stardom.

Lisa became a profitable model, supporting luxury manufacturers like Céline and BVLGARI.

Considering her huge success in many areas of the entertainment industry, it is no surprise that many young people in Thailand have chosen her as a role model.

Lisa explained that she wasn’t sure she should be their inspiration when she was still lacking in so many areas. She thinks there may still be a lot to teach her due to her young age.

Every time I go to Thailand, there’s this new infant technology that everyone’s watching as much as I do: ‘I want to be like Lisa, unni!‘ But when I look at myself, I miss so many areas. There are so many things I don’t know because I’m still younger.

The idea that she still has many flaws makes her wonder when she’ll be ready to simply accept their admiration. She humbly said that she still had a long strategy to follow.

They look like an idol to me, but I still don’t think I’m good enough to be their idol. Am I there but? Am I ready? I’m really curious. How am I an idol for these young people? I still feel like I have a long way to go.
