Prince Harry and Meghan Markle invited to take inspiration from Lady Louise’s ‘model’ book | royal | New

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced they will return to the UK on a surprise visit next month to look into “charities close to their hearts” in Manchester and London.
But journalist Camilla Long slammed Harry for ‘twirling around’ for attending ‘some sub-Trudeau globalist balls’.

Comparing the Duke to his younger cousin, Ms Long said Lady Louise was a “true royal rebel, unlike Harry and Meghan”.

The couple stepped down as senior royals in March 2020, where they were stripped of their royal patronages and honorary military titles.

They then moved across the pond to Montecito in Santa Barbara where they now live with their two children Archie, three, and Lilibet who turned one during Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Writing in The Sunday Times, Ms Long said Lady Louise was a ‘modest and sympathetic young woman’, accusing Harry and Meghan of having ‘zero self-awareness’.

She continued: “The problem with all of this, of course, is that the current royal family spends a huge amount of time emphasizing duty, diligence, service and grace.

“While Harry travels to Manchester to take part in sub-Trudeau globalist balls – ‘four days of transformative panels’ – his cousin, Lady Louise Windsor, works in a garden center for £6.83 an hour, the salary minimum.

“What’s interesting is that this modest, likeable young woman, who looks like she might or might not be royal, strikes me as much more of a role model than anyone you’d spot around Meghan or at one of them ambitious and empty heights.

“As someone who seems happy to just have a job, she’s the real royal rebel – unlike Harry and Meghan, who think anything that doesn’t involve a photo shoot is, like, what. what exactly do these two stand for, except hair and makeup and a jumble of poorly expressed ideas that show no self-awareness?”

The Queen’s youngest granddaughter, 18, often referred to as the monarch’s “favourite”, mostly grew up away from the spotlight.

Last week, the teenager received her A-level results before Buckingham Palace announced she would follow in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s footsteps to attend the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

The Sussexes will then travel to Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event on September 6.

And they will return to the UK for the WellChild Awards in London on September 8 where Harry will deliver a speech.

Their visit falls on a busy time for the Queen as the new Prime Minister is to be announced and asked to form a government by the Monarch.

Although no private visits to senior royals have been confirmed, Meghan and Harry have been asked to stop by to see the Queen if her schedule allows.
