The role model was Buttler, but now it’s Rizwan, says Pakistan’s rising star

Promising Pakistani batsman Mohammad Haris has said his role model is England wicket-beater Jos Buttler, but he is slowly turning into Mohammad Rizwan.
Rizwan has established himself as an elite cricketer and was in fine form in Pakistan’s recent series against Australia.
He scored 140 points in the three tests, including a maximum score of 104 not eliminated, with an average of 46.66.
In the three ODIs that followed, he completed 33 runs at an average of 16.50.
As for the unique T20 International, he hit 23 runs.
“My role model has always been Jos Buttler, but now he becomes Mohammad Rizwan,” Haris said, as quoted by Saj Sadiq on Twitter.
Rizwan currently represents Sussex in the County Championship and has racked up 105 runs in three games at an average of 26.25.
Haris represented Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and scored 166 points in five matches, including a best score of 70, with an average of 33.20 and a superb strike rate of 186.51.
He then amassed 239 runs in eight matches for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Pakistan Cup, which included a best score of 75, at an average of 39.83.
